I had explicitly booked a mountain view room as it was a special occasion, the only reason to have booked this place was because I wanted a great view from the room as we were working from home. They gave me room and the only thing i could see from the balcony and room was other houses right in front of it. Completely Disappointed and annoyed when i requested to give me whta i booked, they said booking.com had send them a wrong confirmation which never said it was a mountain view room. It was a non-refundable booking and all the hotel also mentioned at that time of the year all hotels were full incl. theirs so we will not find another accommodation anywhere. I did not get any compensation, was thoroughly frustrated. I could have stayed anywhere in austria as we had no fixed place we wanted to go and much cheaper. Really really frustrating and annoying. Also mind you the lodges are treated as some outsider side place. no room service either.
